2020 (21-24 August)
The Founding Year
Founded in 2020, the first summer of covid, a hardcore crew wanting a bit of a camp and party, no power or big tent set off for adventure into the Sussex countryside on Charlie’s farm.

2021 (23-26 July)
Introduction of the marquee and power!
Having survived 2020 on battery power and other things alone we set out to add some creature comforts. We added a generator for the sound and lights, and a half contructed marquee due to missing panels.

2022 (15-18 July)
The year of SUE (sueeeee) and a heatwave beach party
Returning to the farm in 2022, it was our biggest and best year yet. It was the year of the super heatwave, the river meadows beach party, and of course the numerous interuptions of Sueeeee….. bringing and end of River Meadows time on the farm, for now….

2024 (26-28 July)
The year River Meadows came back to Sparrows, more friends, the Rowdy Robin Bar, Geodome, Sauna AND of course the moo-doir all appeared as new additions to this year’s River Meadows.
Combined with some amazing weather, new DJs and a sprinkling of dramas - this was perhaps the best River Meadows to take flight yet!

2023 (21-23 July)
Pricey’s 35th Birthday
After three big years on the farm in Sussex, our Sue sized interruptions become too much. It was time to try something a little different at Sparrows. And with a successful birthday and many learnings behind us we are back there as River Meadows for 2024!
